Marisa Davis

Profile

Marisa Davis joined Design Partners as a lighting designer in January, 2005. She comes to the organization after beginning her lighting design career at the Oxygen network, where she broadened her background lighting everything from talk, variety, and game shows to cooking and workout shows. Two years later, Marisa joined the freelance ranks in an effort to expand her expertise in one of her favorite genres, sketch comedy, when she was offered stints on Mad TV, Primetime Glick and The Hollow Men. Most recently, Marisa returned to talk/variety and has been lighting the Ellen DeGeneres show since its first season in 2003. She has been nominated for Emmy Awards for six of the seasons the show has been on the air and won twice.
